ASN Nutrition 2018

YINI will gather experts during the ASN annual meeting, Nutrition 2018, to be held in Boston in June 2018. The YINI summit, organized on June 10 at 12:45 am will be on "Yogurt, more than the sum of its parts"

Nutrimad 2018

YINI experts will gather during the coming IV World Congress of Public Health and Nutrition, held jointly with the  XII Congress of the Spanish Society for Community Nutrition (SENC), to be held on 24-27 October 2018 in Madrid (Spain).

International Congress of Nutrition 2017

Leading experts were gathered on October, 18, 2017 in Buenos Aires (Argentina) to review the major discoveries from the last ten years around gut microbiota. Recent research has shown it could act as a biomarker for disease and a fundamental target for specific interventions, including dietary ones, like yogurt consumption.

17th Meeting of the Spanish Society of Nutrition

This annual meeting took place at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in November 2-5, 2016. A YINI symposium has explored the benefits of yogurt consumption in lactose intolerance and cardiometabolic diseases. How yogurt may be a simple basic food as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle pattern.

International Congress of Dietetics 2016

The 17th International Congress of Dietetics (ICD) took place in September 2016 in Granada, Spain. During a YINI symposium, experts have discussed the benefits of yogurt consumption, as a simple basic food to be part of a healthy & balanced diet.

EB 2016: the 4th Global Summit on the Health Effects of Yogurt took place on the 6th of April, 2016, during the annual Experimental Biology meetings  in San Diego, US. The scientific YINI symposium is entitled: Yogurt & (Type 2) Diabetes, translating evidence into practice.

"Yogurt : a daily partner for health" is a symposium which was organized by the Yogurt in Nutrition Initiative for a Balanced Diet (YINI), as part of the III World Congress of Public Health Nutrition, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (November 10, 2014).

The Yogurt in Nutrition Initiative for a Balanced Diet organized its 2nd Yogurt Summit during the 2014 Experimental Biology Conference, in San Diego. The conference addressed particularly the role yogurt can play in tackling the rising global obesity epidemic and the increase in type 2 diabetes.
