Improved diet quality in yogurt consumers


Can yogurt consumption impact healthy behaviours? According to the research of Dr. Tremblay, yogurt consumption might be the “signature of a healthy diet and lifestyle”. Frequent yogurt consumers do not only have a better nutrient intake, but they also have an improved diet quality, compared to low or non-consumers. They consume more fruit, whole grains and milk, indicating a better compliance to dietary guidelines.
